Meet Jody Druhe, FNP

Jody Druhe, FNP, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner providing health care services to patients of all ages at Desert Wells Family Medicine in Queen Creek, Arizona. She currently specializes in women’s health care and pediatric services, but she also has over a decade of experience in cardiovascular intensive care and interventional radiology from Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, and the University of Illinois in Chicago.

Jody began her nursing career in the 10th grade when she worked as a certified nursing assistant in a hospital and nursing home. She earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing at Mennonite College of Nursing in Bloomington, Illinois, and a Master of Science in nursing at the University of Phoenix. She holds certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society and currently serves on the adjunct faculty at Carrington College and Grand Canyon University, both in Phoenix.

Committed to the shared treatment philosophy of Desert Wells Family Medicine providers, Jody believes that establishing a long-lasting relationship built on trust is the key to providing compassionate and comprehensive health care to each patient. She spends time with her patients to teach and empower them to make educated health decisions and take control of their health through improved lifestyle changes.

Outside of work, Jody enjoys hiking with her husband and two boys, attending church, and cooking family meals. She also enjoys caring for her tortoise and three rescue dogs.
